How do I install the Zoom add-in for Microsoft Outlook?

The Zoom Scheduler Add-in is designed to make scheduling a Zoom meeting within Microsoft Outlook simple. This add-in allows you to easily add a Zoom meeting to any new or existing calendar event. Simply configure your settings and the meeting URL and information is added to the body of the calendar event. To add Zoom meetings from Outlook mobile application, the Add-in must be installed by the IT admin.

1. Go to outlook.office.com/mail, enter your [email protected], campus password, and select the "Sign in" button

2. Click the "Add-Ins for Outlook" icon

3. Search for "Zoom for Outlook"

4. Click the "Add" button

5. Sign Out and Restart Outlook

After the install is complete,  it is best practice to sign out and restart Outlook. Click your profile circle in the top right of your screen and then click on "Sign out" link. Repeat log in step above.

6. Go to your Outlook Calendar and click the "New event" button

7. Select the down carat on Zoom and click on "Add a Zoom Meeting"

8. A pop-up window will appear, click the "Allow" button

9. The Zoom sign in window will appear, click the "SSO" option at the bottom of the Zoom window

This is a one-time sign in process that will link your university Outlook account to your Zoom account.

10. Enter "utah" in the Company Domain field and click the "Continue" button

11. Install complete
