Why do I get an SSO error while trying to log into Zoom?

Updated on

Sometimes, users may receive a "Something went wrong while you tried signing in with SSO" error when logging into Zoom. This can happen for a number of reasons, but most often it is related to the status of the user in the university's main HR database. This happens most frequently for users who are new staff/students or users who recently had a change in their status.
