Starting May 6th, 2024, all media files uploaded to or currently stored in Kaltura/My Media in Canvas and at mediaspace.utah.edu will be subject to the following policy:
- Media files that have not been played for two years or more will be deactivated. Deactivated videos may not be playable.
- Deactivated videos may be restored upon request.
- Media files that have not been played for seven years or more will be deleted from the system. Deleted videos cannot be restored.
Owners of media files flagged for deactivation or deletion will be notified via UMail 14 days before files are removed. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please email [email protected].
