Video and A/V Services to Help You in the Classroom

A/V Light-Up Service

DLT can provide a classroom technician that will arrive 15 minutes prior to class starting and assist the instructor with setting up classroom equipment, joining a Zoom call, etc. The technician will leave once everything is confirmed to be working correctly and the class is started. Classroom A/V Support

DLT provides assistance with installed audiovisual equipment in classrooms.  If you need assistance with a classroom A/V system, please call 801-581-6112 (Option 1) or please fill out our request form for A/V Equipment Maintenance and Repair

Class Recording

DLT can provide a camera operator to film your class and post the recording to a designated URL after class is finished. For more information, please visit our request form for Class and Event Recording.

Portable A/V Equipment Checkout

DLT provides checkout equipment such as microphones, document cameras, webcams, speakers, a/v connection cables, etc. to supplement installed classroom equipment. Zoom Class Stream

DLT camera operators can provide a video and audio feed for your class Zoom meeting. Camera operators will film the class and provide a USB interface to the instructor's laptop for the Zoom call (instructor will need to schedule their meeting). Classes can be recorded directly in Zoom and will automatically transfer to the instructor's My Media account in Canvas. For more information, please visit our request form for Video Conferences.

Zoom Facilitation

DLT can provide a videoconferencing facilitator that will arrive 15 minutes prior to class starting and assist the instructor with setting up their equipment, joining the call, etc. Instructors will need to run the Zoom session on their own laptop, but facilitators can join the call from a separate laptop in the classroom to assist with technical issues and moderating questions. Remote Zoom Facilitation
